VRRadio – cloud-based radio system of the future
VRRadio is our newly developed radio system, designed with over 30 years of practical experience in radio system development. With our VRRadioCloud you can implement large, geographically distributed broadcasting systems and broadcast live from the cloud from your broadcasting studio or any other location. VRRadio can be operated in sovereign clouds in Germany or the EU in compliance with GDPR and, for example, can also be hosted on your own IT infrastructure in combination with the cloud solution.
The target audience is large radio networks and public broadcasters who want to manage their respective program waves and audio pools uniformly on a web-based platform. VRRadio enables “system-wide” work, e.g., cross-wave broadcast planning and broadcasting, regionalization, broadcast control, audio transfer between broadcast memories and playouts, cross-wave statistics and exports, etc.
The data sources of existing radio applications from other manufacturers can be integrated into VRRadio for data exchange. This enables cross-manufacturer workflows, data links, and system controls that have not been possible until now.
With our powerful audio system and integrated mixing console components, you can, for example, implement common programs with any number of regionalization sections thanks to internal audio summing with only a few hardware audio channels. This also allows multiple presenters at different locations to run a playlist together. For maximum broadcast reliability, VRRadio playouts work with a very fast cache in “standalone mode,” which allows broadcasting to continue with a single computer in an emergency.
We connect VRRadio to hardware studio consoles from various manufacturers via the “ember+” mixing console interface.
If you are planning an upgrade and are looking for a modern, powerful, web-based broadcasting system, then you should choose VRRadio.
